Details: I LOVE THIS CAR! I really dont want to sell it but it has come down to where I have no choice. It needs some TLC and I dont have the money or the time to fix it up. Motor needs some work and interior needs a little work itself. The car does start up and run but i would not recommend driving it. I parked it when i heard the timing chain making a little noise. We replaced the tentioner but that didnt fix it. BMW mechanic told me it may be the guides have gone bad. It does have a pretty good bit of miles on it so i would say best bet would be to either replace the motor or rebuild. It is a 5 speed with 211247 miles on the odometer. Common on BMWs from 92-95.One of the speakers, the one in the driverside door panel fell behind the door panel.This is an older car, so don´t expect a lot from it. Mechanically I drive it daily. My future brother-in-law owned this truck before I did and drove over 40 miles to work in Decatur and then I had school in Decatur and also drove that far. Truck had new straight pipes with catalytic converter still on right before I bought it which sound really good. It is in excellent condition inside and out. Has step bars, Line-X spray bedliner, factory in-dash 6 disc CD player, factory back-up parking sensors, power windows locks mirrors and driver seat, and factory power sliding sunroof. Also just installed in the past month is the winch mount brush guard and off-road lights. If you do not want the guard, I can take $500 off the price. No problems at all, always maintained on time. The 4wd works fine, low and high. The truck has a leveling kit and looks really good with the 265/70R17 Fierce Attitude tires that are on it that wear and ride great! Never off-roaded. I just drive too much and do not want to put more miles on this great truck. The odometer reads 164,000 miles, but the engine i put in it only had 100,000. The heater and air conditioner works, but the air conditioner will need to be recharged. The car is very dependable but does need a little TLC to make it perfect. I had intentions of fixing it back up to the way it was before, but haven´t done it so far, so I am willing to depart with it. I am also interested in possible trading it for a 1978-81 Camaro Z-28 in similar condition. I am not desperate in selling this vehicle, so don´t insult me with low ball offers. Details: 1985 BMW E30 318i TWO DOOR FIVE SPEED. runs and drives. gas tank has been vatted and new fuel pump installed, new fuel filter, thermostat, temperature sending unit, new windshield wiper motor. New battery and alternator rebuilt thanksgiving. Tires are in almost new shape but they have a small vibration at fifty five. there are two spares in the trunk. It has recent Monroe gas charged struts and shocks. The car handles great. the sunroof works as it should both directions and flips up for the ´moon roof´. it has a new CD player (with remote) with new speakers. We purchased a 525i to replace this one for my son to go off to school. My wife says this one needs to go. The bad is fuel sending unit needs to be replaced. The odometer quit working (211000 miles. typical for these cars) so the exact mileage is unknown. The passenger window does not function (i have not diagnosed(switch or regulator)). The AC has not been hooked up since I have owned the car. It does not have a belt on it so I do not know the extent of the repair (expect the worst and hope for the best). Interior is tired but has seat covers and the dash has a couple of cracks, needs the hood emblem. Has hail damage from last stormTHANKS.
