I have changed the oil regularly, put new spark plugs and wires in, and a new master control switch for the power windows. Has summer tires, excellent 4wd, automatic transmission, heater works. Emissions are good for a while yet. Power locks. Starts up on even the coldest day with no problem. Auto start, but I don't have the control. Clean title. $1700 obo. My future brother-in-law owned this truck before I did and drove over 40 miles to work in Decatur and then I had school in Decatur and also drove that far. Truck had new straight pipes with catalytic converter still on right before I bought it which sound really good. It is in excellent condition inside and out. Has step bars, Line-X spray bedliner, factory in-dash 6 disc CD player, factory back-up parking sensors, power windows locks mirrors and driver seat, and factory power sliding sunroof. Also just installed in the past month is the winch mount brush guard and off-road lights. If you do not want the guard, I can take $500 off the price. No problems at all, always maintained on time. The 4wd works fine, low and high. The truck has a leveling kit and looks really good with the 265/70R17 Fierce Attitude tires that are on it that wear and ride great! Never off-roaded. Details: Selling my ´68 New Yorker, 4-door hardtop, Chrysler´s luxury model that year, with a 440 V8. Needs some work but nothing major, exterior in good shape except for a couple scratches on drivers side rear panel and small dent near drivers door (see pics). . .nothing unexpected for a 43 year old car. Interior looks nice but drivers seat not attached. . .engine needs basic work - fuel line, battery, hoses, etc, so it will need to be towed out. This would make an awesome restoration project, easy weekend work. I moved to the Slope soon after buying it and I´m finally realizing I won´t ever have time to work on it. Almost everything is either original or an oem Nissan replacement part. It is a fun, reliable daily driver. I was driving it back and forth to Birmingham with no problems up until I bought my new vehicle. Mechanically, it´s about as good as Z´s get. Cosmetically, there are some projects that have been on my list, but never bothered me enough to worry with. I always worry about aftermarket junk on vehicles like this. The only mechanical alteration is the addition of camber adjusting tension rods in the front suspension. The cars didn´t come from the factory with any adjustment for camber. The bars fix that. My priority with this Z was always to maintain reliability and performance. If you´re looking for a reliable daily driver, that also happens to be incredibly fun to drive, this is it. If you´re looking for a cheap, riced out pile of mismatched, low-quality aftermarket parts, this one´s not for you.Information and Options:3.0L V6, non-turbo 5speed manual transmissionTires have ~80% of treadPower steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, cloth seats, cruiseGreat air conditioningRemovable t-tops that do not leak, including leather covers for stowing in the trunkAftermarket stereo, professionally installed, including all speakers, 10in subwoofer, and amp mounted under the passenger seatCondition:- All major maintenance performed at 145,000 including timing belt, tensioner, drive belts, water pump, thermostat, cam seals, fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs. - Radiator replaced about a 1000 miles ago along with both temp sensors. Hoses in good shape. - Valve cover seals have a slow leak. Rear main has a very slow leak. I add less than 1/2 qt oil between oil changes. There is also a slow power steering fluid leak. I just top it off at oil changes.- Crank angle sensor and mass airflow sensor have both been replaced in the last 7000 miles. - Diehl Nissan recently did a full inspection. The paperwork shows that everything checked out, but they recommended changing shifter bearings. They´re a little loose, but it doesn´t both me. - Clutch pedal squeaks from wear on a connecting pin. Its perfectly safe, but when it squeaks when its humid outside.- On cold winter mornings a bearing somewhere gets too tight and whines until warm. I had it checked a few years ago and they said not to worry about. It will surprise you though if you´re not ready for it.- Front bumper was broken by the state emissions inspectors in Texas. Bumper looks pretty bad. A replacement from Nissan is about $500. Non-Nissan bumpers are less. - Paint shows its age. Normal chips and wear. It´s never been wrecked since I´ve had it, but I don´t have a full history prior to 78,000 miles when I bought it. Email me to request more pictures. Craigslist only allows the 4 small ones.
